A little trivia to start your day. Did you know that the worlds largest ice-cream store chain got its humble beginnings in Glendale? Specifically the Adams Hill district. Irv Robbins started his own shop, Starbird, in 1945. Mr. Baskin opened up a shop in Pasadena a year later.
